Volvo Penta DPH, DPS sterndrives are one of the most efficient boat drive systems developed and manufactured entirely by Volvo Penta. Two propellers rotate in the opposite direction to provide better acceleration, higher top speed and better fuel economy. Volvo Penta stern drive system offers up to 40% longer travel range, 20% more top speed, 30% less fuel consumption than other shaft propellers. In other propulsion systems propeller is immovable, in Volvo Penta sterndrive system propeller rotates and provides excellent swivel manoeuvrability.
Twin engine Volvo Penta sterndrive system can be easily manoeuvred by installing a joystick docking system on boats. Due to this innovative technology, you can safely dock your boat in the harbour without the need to rely on smooth weather conditions.
