Volvo Penta IPS is the most efficient boat drive system in the world, fully developed and manufactured by Volvo Penta. Two forward facing propellers rotate in the opposite direction to provide better acceleration, higher total speed and better fuel economy. Volvo Penta IPS system offers 40% longer cruise range, 20% more top speed, and 30% less fuel consumption than other shaft propeller systems. In other propulsion systems the propeller is immovable, but in the Volvo Penta IPS system, the propeller rotates and provides excellent swivel manoeuvrability.
By installing a joystick docking system with the dual-engine Volvo Penta IPS system, you can easily manoeuvre sideways. Due to this innovative technology, you can safely dock your boat in the harbour without the need to rely on smooth weather conditions.
